Art Masters
"Meet the Masters" is a parent-driven art enrichment program for the classroom. Each month, your child's class will be discovering great art masters, viewing their pieces, learning about a technique or medium, and creating their own work of art. Parent volunteers prepare class sets of materials for each art project, lead the lesson by teaching a class (~45-60 mins), and assist with materials during the lesson. Our artists this year are Monet, Cassatt, Klee, Escher, Picasso, Mondrian, and Homer. At the end of the year, we will display a piece of art from every child at the VAPA Showcase.
