You will pick an 8th grade level novel to read for Literature Day. Use this link as a suggested list to help you pick a novel. You can also the suggested lexile list in i-ready. Use your lexile number in i-ready to help you find a book in that lexile range. This novel must be approved by your teacher no later than Wed. 10/9. Please email Ms. Roney for approval of the novel you would like to read. Some teen novels are for mature audiences, please ask for your parents permission to read your chosen book. In your email to Ms. Roney please include the title, author, lexile number and permission from your parents to read it.
Once you finish reading the book you must complete the novel write up. In addition to the write up you will also pick a project to complete for Literature Day. Also on 10/30 you can dress up as a character from the novel you read.
