Steps:
1. On the PDF of the map, draw in the plate boundaries again from class (convergent: yellow; divergent: red; transform: green)
2. Watch the video that is attached. If the video doesn't work for you, READ Steps 3-5 for directions and use the pictures to help you.
3. Open TsunamiAlert on Amplify (Lesson 1.3 --> Warm Up --> Futura Workspace --> Upper right hand corner icon). Do not add anything onto the map. Click "TEST" and note that there is no data in the Design.
4. Select "STUDY EARTHQUAKES". The menu on the left sorts the earthquakes based on magnitude and lists the coordinates of each earthquake.
5. For each earthquake listed (for all the magnitudes), use the coordinates on TsunamiAlert to mark it on the PDF of the map. When you click on each red circle, an animation on the map will show you the effects of the earthquake (if there are any). Use the key on the PDF of the map (open circle, half filled, or fully filled) to determine the type of earthquake that happened.
6. Answer in the private comments:
