Enrichment Resources by Multiple Intelligences & Grade Level

Oxford Preparatory Academy incorporates the Theory of Multiple Intelligences as the foundation of our school’s philosophy. This theory states that each of us possess at least eight intelligences that characterize the way we learn. Utilizing this theory as an instructional approach increases retention, thereby, producing optimum academic success for our students. The goal is to create an environment that focuses on the following premise: all children can learn, and all are gifted.

OPA is proud to announce that our dedicated teachers from Saddleback Valley and South Orange County campus have joined forces to collaborate and develop a list resources for our Champions. These resources will help our students continue to develop skills through lessons and activities that incorporate the Theory of Multiple Intelligences for Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade Champions.

Our school counselor and school psychologists from both sites also incorporated Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) activities and lessons for each grade level. (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
